THAT'S GREAT NEWS JUJU!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN! IT'S A CRUEL WORLD OUT THERE!!!!!!!! HAVE TO WATCH YOUR BACK ALL THE TIME. [img]eek.gif[/img]

They found a bird in Lynchburg with West Nile- way TOO close for me!!! We don't go out of the house without spray on now!!!! It's tough because of football/cheerleading practice- we start at 6pm & go til 7:30-7:45pm & now the days are getting shorter.

Also- our drought is horrible!! We have a county here where you can only FLUSH, shower, & do dishes!! It's BAD- we haven't had ANY rain in over 2 weeks!!! But, being August it's HOT!! My poor flower garden- I only water it once a week (got toooooo much $ invested to let it die!!!)

Hopefully, we'll have a wet Fall & Winter!!!! PLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSSEEEEEE!!!!

Yeah all this talkabout flies.. I just got up and went to say hello to happy dog [img]tongue.gif[/img] when I noticed something crawling on his face!!!! I immediately thought it was one of those ticks that attach themselves somewhere on the dog?s skin, that has happened a few times and I always have to call dad to use them tweezers to twist them off, yuck!! But this one was just crawling so I thought it was one that had just got it from the morningwalk, not attached yet. I ran to get some toilet paper to pick it out and kill it. It was real hard to come off! I ended up panicking a little and then I caught it, and I pulled out a tiny pach of my dog?s fur in the temple [img]confused.gif[/img]

Turned out to be a moose fly! A fairly new thing over here, they flew over from RUSSIA (surprise, surprise, everything bad seems to come from there lol. Atleast they?re not Arabs). They?re harmless. They fly in the forest looking for moose to land on. Usually I?m safe and so is my dog, since moose have dark fur and I?ve got light coloured hair and my dog is red. So weird. Have to protect "little ones" from who knows what! So I should have just let it be I guess.. hmh

Damn, JuJu...Jackson is only 3 hours from here!!! That's just too damn close!!! John came in tonight with a HUGE mosquito bite on his shin!! I have never seen a mosquito bite so big in my life!! Now all I'm gonna do is worry about him!! This is starting to get really scary!!

There are 48 cases of West Nile Virus in Mississippi and the 2nd person just died from it today!! 1 death in Hinds County and 1 in Madison County!!! Down around Jackson, I believe!!! Too close for comfort!!! Tim is eaten up with mosquito bites!!! [img]confused.gif[/img]

JuJu.......I know how ya feel. I used to worry all the time when my hubby was out workin' in that heat - it was ungodly hot!

NOW I worry about him out gettin' eaten up by the damn skeeters, AND the heat, AND the ozone! He's always out doin' this and that - doin' things he shouldn't be doin' anyway, and now there's so many reasons to try and stay in as much as ya can. [img]mad.gif[/img]

It's gettin' so you're not safe outdoors for so many reasons......just chaps my ass 'cause he loves to get out and do things, and I don't want him to end up with some terrible "thing" because of it..... [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
